What's next: Implementing new features etc.


Thank you to everyone who played ver 1.0 of this game! Everyone has been really supportive and I'm grateful to my fellow Tempuras <3


As a beginner in programming, I wanted to get the game mechanics down to its core: spawn axelotls, change their form when dipped into batter, change the material as it fries, and score points when you feed axel. After a month of (mostly) coding and having 10000+ tabs of unity forums open, we finally have the base game! Now it's time to think about expanding it a tiny bit just to make it more interesting. I'm working on a few things now although I'm not sure if or when I'd actually release them because I still am a beginner at programming. I'll keep a log though to keep track of my progress!

the base game itself is a bit too repetitive, so I'm working on implementing powerups to make it more engaging. One food item representative of each Tempus HQ member, I'm thinking! I already had two assets ready before release, but the real challenge is implementing it!

Second, a food decorating type mini-game where you could spend the points you accumulated in the base game. I'm currently in the process of implementing the UI and the in-game store (which might take a while!) This is something I've always wanted to make, so I'm hoping it turns out well!
